Hi all from Aylesbury, just north west of london towards oxford..well moved in with monky and things are sweet, tomorro i have a days relief about an hour from here, so thats good to get some quid coming in..I have an interview for the duty manager job at a gym and have to construct a ten min presentation on leadership and motivation for it so been busy trying to do that.
Also applied for another job co-ordinating a disabilties in sport program, trying to get disabled people more active, so will see how that goes..Went to my first training last night and had to train indoors because of snow on the field. Im playing in the midfield this weekend and will possibly slide into ten at somestage during the game, i think the club thinks im better than i am, so alittle bit nervous but monk says its pretty easy so should be fine. I won the press up and prone hold competition last night at training first up so that proves they arnt the fittest bunch of fellas...They were all very freindly and keen to talk to me and ask me about rugby so thats got me worried that they are all going to be watching me closly on the weekend, but Greg assures me ill be all right.
Ive got some coaching work on sunday at a Wasps coaching clinic down at Adams Park the home of Wasps, there is a couple of hours there and then wasps are playing leicester afterwards so im getting put up in the corporates there for the game which should be awesome, Greg and the lads from the club are coming down for it so should be a good game. Hopefully swipe some free Wasps kit, if i dont have job after next week i can be a full time coach for wasps, if not ill do it in my spare time between work, apparently the gym job if i get it is 4 big days a week so that will leave me a spare day to go out and coach.
Playing in a big game on saturday, so there should be a good town crowd down there.
Greg and I are moving into this sleep out thing on sunday as the person whose house he lives in is moving back in, so we have this little outhouse to ourselves for £30 a week so thats pretty bloody good, cook our own food etc, so should be sweet, its with a few young boys from the club so should be entertaining. We just need to go and find a couple of beds etc so sleep on and we will be sorted.
Ill post some photos of the town etc when i get around on the weekend and take some, its a typical english town really, coblestoned paths etc. The weather today has been pretty good, crisp and clear, not that cold really considering the snow of last week, just started raining which is good coz it will melt the snow on the number one pitch at the club.
Other than all is fine and enjoying my time over here, spent today at the library changing cvs and doing this presentation..just buying time until i start work holding off spending much money until i get it coming in, ill be back in touch with how my first day of supply goes tomorrow if i get there, its going to take me just over an hour to get there which is worrying, should be sweet got a map sorted.
catch ya later
